The Forward Systems CASHLESS module manages the credit cards collections and payments system in the gaming machines. To enable this function, a device is incorporated into the machine which features a card reader, a keyboard and a screen. The players receive a card and, on inserting it into a machine, they can transfer money between the machine and their account.
This operation offers numerous advantages: from the players point of view, it facilitates exchange between machines and avoids waiting for gaming hall personnel, and from the operators point of view it reduces or eliminates the handling of coins and notes, it increases the playing time on machines (it eliminates stoppages for manual payments) and can be combined with the PLAYER TRACKING module to permit the tracking of player activity.
The main functions of this module are the following:
Management of accounts with multiple cards.
Support for nominal or anonymous cards.
Transactions between the system and the machines via SAS AFT/EFT.
Recharging and redemption of card balances from the cash desk.
Support for automatic teller machines (ATM) for the recharge and redemption of balances.
Link with the PLAYER TRACKING module for management of promotions.
